Los Angeles, CA, May 15, 2010 – Harvard Tennis Club, Inc. proudly hosted The 2010 Pete Brown Appreciation Luncheon, at the Proud Bird Restaurant in Los Angeles, 11am to 4pm. This new event was a time for Harvard Tennis Club to publicly acknowledge and thank their outstanding and long term tennis coach of over 50 years and club member – Coach Ulysses Pete Brown, who specializes in junior development programs.  Coach Brown is nationally certified and recognized for his coaching techniques, dedication and promotion of the game of tennis.

The event brought together over 220 guests (from Colorado to San Diego), including: Brown family members, tennis dignitaries, club members, current and former students, tennis product representatives, former co-workers and tennis supporters to appreciate Coach Brown.  The program was spearheaded by Harvard’s President, Renea McZeal and moderated by club member Jim Parker and proved to be a fond walk down memory lane; which was full of fun, surprises and loving tributes to Coach Brown.  For more event information, go to the following FaceBook Pages: Harvard Tennis Club. or Net Games News , or see the Net Games news June 2010 Newsletter
