The Pete Brown Scholarship Fund is dedicated to preserving the hopes and dreams of families of young tennis players who have excelled in the game of competitive tennis. Mr. Brown and his team of coaches, in partnership with the Harvard Tennis Club in Los Angeles, offer opportunities for junior tennis players to obtain annual scholarships. Proceeds from this scholarship will primarily benefit junior tennis players with needs throughout Los Angeles.
In today’s fast-paced society, young people are faced with more opportunities, as well as more challenges than ever before. Tools for their healthy development are critical to overcoming the odds. The programs of the Harvard Tennis Club assist young men and women and adults in facing today’s challenges head-on and help prepares them for a successful future. Our programs, aimed at helping tennis players to focus on the family and community, promote positive self-development and encourage communication and quality time between parents and youth.

The enclosed material provides our guidelines of submission for consideration of a scholarship. We reserve the right to refuse a grant to anyone. Our club has a committee that must agree on any grant that is made. |
